Dave…thanks for the update….we are building our MVS unit…and would like to be a microcosm of the world with Xian, Muslim, and Jew being represented….working together in peace…not there yet…but that is where we are headed..perhaps you could eventually sent a few volunteers our way. Of the many things the 3 “of the book” have in common is taking care of those in need. I think we need to model this to the community, esp as menno’s…Peace Be Upon You….Joe

Hello Dave. I like the emphasis in your website on connectivity. If you could truly make that your task rather than “convertivity” you would bring something fresh and unusual. I like the tone of the previous comment - building a microcosm of the world with Christian, Muslim, and Jew represented. Let mission be listening with others - diverse others - for God’s ongoing call to new work in the world and figuring out ways to respond together to what is heard - with no agendas of moving people out of one community into another and all the mistrust that accompanies that. Contact me when you arrive in Jerusalem! I’m here as Quaker rep….

Hi Dave,
Glad to hear about your exciting plans! The Lord has given you a place in your heart for the Holy Lands and you can be a light for Christ there. Blessings as you live, learn, and develop new friendship. Love, The Hoover family
